Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso Sign Historic Joint Declaration

In a landmark moment for Nigerian democracy, Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso signed a joint declaration committing to a unified presidential ticket under the New Nigeria Coalition.

In a landmark moment for Nigerian democracy, Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso signed a joint declaration committing to a unified presidential ticket under the New Nigeria Coalition (NNC) on Monday in Abuja.

The declaration, witnessed by civil society leaders and former heads of state, outlines a shared governance framework built on the Five C's: Competence, Character, Capacity, Compassion, and Commitment.

"Nigeria is at a crossroads," Obi said at the signing ceremony. "This coalition is not about two men — it is about 220 million Nigerians who deserve a government that works for them."

Kwankwaso echoed the sentiment, noting that the North and South must stand together to defeat poverty, insecurity, and corruption. "When we win in 2027, every Nigerian will feel the difference," he said.
