Peter Obi Unveils ₦15 Trillion Economic Blueprint for First 100 Days

The presidential candidate released a detailed 100-day economic plan targeting food security, job creation, and infrastructure investment across all 36 states.

Peter Obi on Tuesday released a detailed 100-day economic blueprint that promises to redirect ₦15 trillion in government spending toward food security, job creation, and critical infrastructure.

The plan, developed with a team of economists and former central bank officials, targets a 7% GDP growth rate by 2029 through aggressive investment in agriculture, manufacturing, and digital infrastructure.

"We will stop consuming and start producing," Obi said at the Lagos launch event. "Every naira of government money must create value for Nigerians, not line the pockets of the few."

The blueprint also includes a ₦2 trillion emergency fund for smallholder farmers and a national broadband expansion programme targeting 80% rural internet coverage by 2028.
