Nigerian Diaspora Raises Record ₦800 Million for ObiKwankwaso Campaign
Nigerians in the UK, US, Canada, and Europe have collectively raised a record sum in the first month of the campaign's international fundraising drive.
Nigerians living abroad have raised a record ₦800 million in the first month of the ObiKwankwaso 2027 campaign's international fundraising drive, surpassing all previous diaspora political fundraising records.
Donations poured in from the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Germany, and South Africa, with the UK chapter alone contributing over ₦200 million.
"The diaspora is not just sending remittances home — we are investing in Nigeria's future," said London chapter coordinator Dr. Emeka Nwosu. "This campaign represents the best chance for real change in our lifetime."
